(8 stanzas of 5 lines)
We wave hello.
And kiss goodbye.
For our lives are always in motion.
We discover places unknown.
And explore paths untread.
For our feet are always in exploration.
We get lost.
We miss trains
And get forgotten.
Yet our hearts are always up for a mission.
We sleep on couches.
And hitchhike with strangers.
Still our bodies are always ready for a collaboration.
We discuss together.
And ponder alone.
For our minds are always open to inquisition.
We face uncertainty.
And overcome resistance.
For our souls are always yearning to transition.
“Don’t you miss your home?” – They say.
“Don’t you miss your family?” – They pray
“Not really!” – We proclaim.
We travel alone, yet we’re never truly lonely,
For you see, we never remain in absolute isolation.
We affirm the Earth as our home.
And everyone we meet as our family.
Thus with passport in hand and bags always packed,
We whisper into the wind,
“See you in the world.” – And we’re gone without hesitation.
As always, thank you for reading and joining me on this #internationalcoffeejourney
